Fieldwork Insights & Trial Reporting
Experiments Surveys & forms
**Fieldwork Insights** is the participant-flow report in the **CONSORT** tab of your project's [Data & Results dashboard](/docs/feature-manual/data-and-results). It gives you an overview of your study's progress without needing to download any data files.Quick statistics
Section titled “Quick statistics”At the top of the Fieldwork Insights panel you’ll find a summary row with six key metrics:
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Total Participants | Number of completed sessions |
| Countries Sampled | Number of distinct countries |
| Mean Duration | Average time to complete the study |
| Completion Rate | Percentage of starters who finished |
| Mean RT | Mean reaction time across all test trials |
| Mean Accuracy | Mean accuracy across all test trials |
All metrics update in real time as sessions come in.
Trial reporting (CONSORT-style)
Section titled “Trial reporting (CONSORT-style)”Below the quick stats, a CONSORT-inspired flowchart breaks down participant flow through the study. The report is divided into sections:
Currently Participating
Section titled “Currently Participating”Participants who are in an active session right now.
Enrolment
Section titled “Enrolment”| Event | Description |
|---|---|
| Allocated | Participant entered the study URL |
| Abandon | Participant left before completing |
| Excluded | Participant was screened out |
| Completed | Participant finished and submitted results |
Main Task
Section titled “Main Task”Breakdown of task completion: how many participants reached each major section.
Group Allocation
Section titled “Group Allocation”If subjectGroup is used, this section shows how many participants are in each group.
Exporting the report
Section titled “Exporting the report”Click Export as CSV to download the flowchart data for your methods section or IRB report.
Resetting counters
Section titled “Resetting counters”Click Reset to clear all counters and start fresh. Previous data is archived (reset history is saved), so resetting is safe if you have already downloaded your data or are starting a new data collection wave.
Attrition Data
Section titled “Attrition Data”For Pro and Departmental plan holders: enable Attrition Data to collect trial-by-trial information from participants who did not complete the study.
Once activated, partial session data is saved whenever a participant abandons mid-study, giving you insight into where drop-off occurs most frequently.
